Changing Font on Numbered Lists

  1. Every time I use a numbered list in a blog posting, the typeface appears bigger than the rest of the post. How can I change this? Thanks!

  2. If you are talking about the site linked to your username, http://crazyduderocknroll.wordpress.com/ , I just looked at the CSS, and the ordrered and unordered lists pull the font size from the same location as the main post and page content.

Have you got a link to a page or post where this is happening? I see only the standard hello world post and about page.

  3. For some reason I couldn't sign up to participate in the forums with my work blog where this is happening. The specific blog post I'm trying to put up isn't visible to the public yet. Essentially what's happening is I'm giving a rundown on how to use a feature on our website:

    "Here's how it works:
    1.
    2.
    3
    4."

Everything written around the 1, 2, 3, 4 steps is one font at a certain size, but the 4 steps themselves are larger. I don't know if this is actually enough information for you to go on, but I can't put the blog up until this problem is fixed. You can check out blog.kickitback.com to see the blog itself.

  4. "the blog itself" as in the blog site, not the individual blog i'm having trouble with.

  5. Without having a URL, or being able to see the site I can't really be of much help. I'm not even sure at this point if the site is actually hosted here at wordpress.COM. From this, "I'm giving a rundown on how to use a feature on our website" I would be led to believe that it is self-hosted on a different hosting service and not hosted at wordpress.COM, which would mean that you need to be inquiring over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted installs are supported. Even over there though, if they cannot see it, they will not be able to tell what is causing the issue or how to fix it.

  6. You're right. Thank you for your help.

  7. You are welcome.
