Changing font style in a post: Windows / Ubuntu

    Inserting the code
    span style="font-family:verdana;"
    Font style is shown changed on Windows (XP), but not on Ubuntu (9.10), both with Firefox.
    How can I change the font style for Ubuntu users?

    The blog I need help with is saedacuncha.wordpress.com.

    This post has no instructions for Ubuntu, but I understood the problem. Then:
    I looked for similar fonts for Ubuntu in OpenOffice writer, and inserted the name of the new font:
    span style="font-family:verdana,DejaVu Sans;"
    In this way in Ubuntu the text is shown as DejaVu Sans, similar to verdana.
