changing from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

  1. I have recently started my wordpress.com blog only to discover you can't use plugins. I have checked out wordpress.org which has the plugin capability including the plugins (buddypress) that I was intending to use at some stage. The question is do I have to start all over again or can I import what I have already done somehow to .org?

The blog I need help with is secretwomensbusinessdotnet.wordpress.com.

  2. You can export from wordpress.com and import into .org.

You can even get the staff to do it for you in a guided transfer, though this doers have a cost.
