Changing Header Colors in Duet Theme

  1. Can theme colors be overridden in CSS? Duet allows us to change the color for only 2 things: background and links. How do I change the colors for my headers, both blog and post?

    The blog I need help with is thesqueakyrobot.com.

  2. If you wish to change the post, page and site titles to the same colors, you can use the following two rules. The first is the non-hover color, and the second is the hover color.

    h1 a:link, h1 a:visited, hgroup h1 {
        color: #000000;
    }

    body.green h1:hover {
        color: #7AB52B;
    }

    If you wish to set the site title colors separately from the post title colors, they you would want to use more specific selectors and add this after the code for the post/page titles.

    Site title:

    header h1 a:link, header h1 a:visited {
        color: #CC0000;
    }

    body.green header h1 a:hover {
        color: #0055dd;
    }
