Changing menu text color and shadow

  1. Hi, im using the Sempress theme and trying to change the color of the menu fonts as well as remove the shadow at the top of the page - if this is even possible. I've searched for the CSS that pertains to this with no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is yourcloudnews.wordpress.com.

  2. To clarify - the shadow on the menu text... and the menu at the top of the page.

    Thanks

  3. Hi, add this to your custom CSS and edit the (obnoxious) color codes I used. I've included both the non-hover and hover rules as well as a separate rule (last one) for the current page item.

    .main-navigation a, .main-navigation a:visited {
        color: #CC0000;
        text-shadow: none;
    }
    .main-navigation div > ul > li > a:hover, .main-navigation .current_page_ancestor > a {
        color: #66FF66;
    }
    .main-navigation .current_page_item > a {
        color: #FFB266;
    }
  4. Do you mean the white around the text in the menu?

  5. @thesacredpath Perfect! Thank you so much.

  6. @thomgarriton, you are welcome.
