I'm basically moving some information over from an old blog to my shiny new wordpress blog. I'd like for these old posts to retain the right dates, however. If I just add them all in, I'll have 20 odd posts for March of '08.
I know that you can edit your timestamp to post later on, but can you use this feature to back date as well?
The post timestamp is usually retained on importing. From which platform are you importing? Is your "shiny new wordpress blog" a wordpress.com blog?
