I'm working on a site for a client and I'm using twentyeleven as the theme. I cannot figure out where the CSS would go to change the background color in the style sheet. I'm using the showcase template on the page that I'm working on right now, but I will need to be able to change it in the regular template as well.

The blog linked to your username is an empty free hoisted WordPress.com blog. If you are referring to another free hosted WordPress.COM blog we Volunteers require an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question before we can help you. If that's the case then does the blog have the annually renewable paid custom design upgrade or not?
If you are referring to a self hosted WordPress.ORG install you are posting to the wrong support forum for your software and must post where the support bot points to http://wordpress.ORG/support/
If you aren't sure which of the two it is see here WordPress.COM vs WordPress.ORG: The Differences
