   I am trying to change the url to electricreel.ca rather than the .wordpress. I checked the blog info but right off the bat I found a problem. In General settings there is no Option to change the wordpress url or the site address. I don't know why. When I did some research I discovered that it might have to do with a MULISITE problem. I didn't set up a multisite, but perhaps thats the issue. Other users suggested going to the wp-config and eliminating the other sites that might be connected.

   Can you help with this, it is inexorably frustrating to deal with.

   The blog I need help with is electricreeltv.wordpress.com.

   Have you read the relevant support documentation for purchasing a domain mapping upgrade? http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

   WordPress.com supports registering domains with the extensions .com, .org, .net, or .me.    After your have purchased your.ca domain name from another registrar you can then follow these instructions to want to map that domain to your blog. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

   It worked! Thank you. Yes I had already set everything up with the godaddy account, however I had not added the domain. Thank you!
