Changing themes doesn't work now that I've edited CSS

  1. I customised the CSS on the K2-Lite theme; now when I try to change the theme, the page goes to a "no style sheets" kind of view. Any idea of how I can change this?

  2. What are your selected options on your Edit CSS page after you switch? Also please give a link to your blog since only you can see what is occuring.

  3. Here's the blog link http://brlogsbane.wordpress.com/

  4. I found that I had to delete my old style sheet first, and then re-apply it to the relevant theme. Your old CSS is overriding the new theme, since it has priority.

You'll probably need to adjust the CSS for the new theme anyway :)

  5. how do you delete and reapply the style sheet?

  6. I'm not a css expert.
I think if you go back and select 'use this' and start from scratch it should go back to what you had. But I hasten to add that I'm not sure.
I also think you should read the post right above yours.
Hopefully a css guru will pop in and lend a hand.

  7. do you mean you want to return to the basic stylesheet you started with? If so, make sure you have your CSS copied to a text file on your computer (in case you want it in the future), then delete everything out of the CSS editor box. Make sure you have "Add to existing stylesheet" selected, then save your changes.
