Changing time sequence on published articles.

  1. I posted an article an hour ago. It should have been the first article on the front page. Another author accidentally published hers after I did, and it needs to be second. Can I change the published time on both articles so they will be in reverse order? I made mine sticky, but we hate the yellow background that now occurs with this new theme that we were changed to.

    Please let me know

The blog I need help with is wtpotus.wordpress.com.

  2. Yes - you can change the Published Time for the Post -

I think I saw an issue with a permalink (the address of the post) if the day is changed, but you are just changing the hour and minute so should be not a problem - I did that several times on a couple of my sites to get the correct order of posting.

You can change the time/date stamp on a published post by editing it. Once you have opened the post for editing look for the Publish module on the right hand side.

In that module you will see this >
    Status: Published Edit
    OK Cancel
    Visibility: Public Edit
    Public
Stick this post to the front page

Click that Edit link and make the required change. Then click "Update".
