   I use the Theme Min theme, although I dont think this would be a theme specific issue.

   What I am trying to do is create a thumbnail gallery where each of the images click through to posts on my site. When I change the URL links to the images uploaded, however, they revert to a link to the picture when saved.

   Is there a work around for this? A fix? Maybe an option somewhere I'm unaware of that would allow me to change the thumbnail links to be links to posts and not pics?

   This is an idea for a Page that would really be helpful to my blog, so I'm hoping someone could help me out. Thanks!

   At the moment you can add external links to image captions and/or descriptions, but, when using the Gallery feature, the Link URL field is ignored. A Gallery image can only lead to the larger image in a photo carousel or if you've turned off the carousel, to the image attachment page or image itself. That's the way the Gallery is coded to work.

   There is a proposal in the works to change this at some point in a future version of the software we're using ,but for right now, that's what there is.

   You can also use images in an HTML table as well to achieve what you propose.
