Chaotic has squashed my title!

  1. Hey-
    It's me again. I had that double vision problem when a post showed up twice(?) using chaotic. I've found that the only way to fix(?) this is to post again. So I did that. Now this post (http://imadethis.wordpress.com/2006/11/05/cool-links/ ...the squishy post)(http://imadethis.wordpress.com/2006/11/07/im-gonna-get-you-sucka/ ...pictures and text overlap)looks really squished and the title of the following post is squashed. What's happening? Also, how can I access my other pages using this theme. I know I sound like a broken record, but is there a solution? (Other than switching to a different theme?)

    ALL HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!

  2. I had a look at your site and it looks fine to me, although there is a photo in the top post that's a bit overlapping with some text. That might simply be down to you needing to edit it a bit more and reduce the pics dimensions, but I'm not sure.
    To access your pages either go to them via the 'manage' button, or if you mean how to access them from the front page then there should be a 'pages' widget you can add to your sidebar.
    Does that help any?

  3. Um, please don't use copyrighted webcomics in one of your posts, especially without giving credit from where it came from. It's not cool.

  4. Oh my Gawd. I never saw that pages widget before. I feel like SUCH an idiot. Thanks a lot for pointing out what must have been completely obvious to everyone, BUT me. I've moved the pictures to try and tweak it a bit. I think it looks better.
    But I thought that titles wouldn't be affected by a previous blog. But there ya go.

    Thanks again.

  5. Hey, would you know where to put align="left" or whichever I need inside the following in order for the text to be next to the picture rather than below it?
    <table width=350 align=center border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=2><tr><td bgcolor="#DDDDDD" align=center>
    <font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" style='color:black; font-size: 14pt;'>
    You Are Indigo
    </font></td></tr>
    <tr><td bgcolor="#EEEEEE">
    <center><img src="http://images.blogthings.com/whatcolorblueareyouquiz/indigo.jpg" height="100" width="100"></center>
    <font color="#000000">
    Of all the shades of blue, you are the most funky, unique, and independent.
    Expressing yourself and taking a leap of faith has always been easy for you.
    </font></td></tr></table>
    <div align="center">What Color Blue Are You?</div>

  6. Hey, I take personal offence to that one. I'm all about Natalie Dee. Haven't you seen the blog? And as far as giving her credit, I'm not sure why the title of the picture isn't showing up. But this is what it says in the editing bit:
    <img src="http://static.flickr.com/95/269652337_a71eded0c6.jpg?v=0" alt="nataliedee.com" />

  7. The alt tag is showing up for me. It would be best if you actually stated where the picture came from. I do note that you have done this though now so all is cool. :)

    I read her work as well. It's even on my links page under webcomics.
