Check Boxes for Reactions to Posts

  1. Hi,
I was reading a Blogger Blog today and I noticed it had a row of check boxes below each post where people can check off their reactions to the post without leaving an actual comment or sharing their info. For example, you can check off "like", "disagree", "funny", "informative", etc. Here is the blog: http://theandipants.blogspot.com/

Does WordPress offer an option to do this or is there some way I can create it myself?

Does anyone know what this is called? Is it a Widget?
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Katie

The blog I need help with is belovedknits.wordpress.com.

Related feature in wp.com blogs: http://en.support.wordpress.com/ratings/

  3. This was interesting, but not exactly what I'm looking for. Are check boxes not possible at this time?

  4. @ panaghiotisadam,

Thank you, this is a handy tool. I just activated it on my blog.

  5. @belovedknits,

What you saw on that blog (check boxes) is actually a feature from blogger.com called reactions.

No, Blogger checkboxes are not available at wordpress.com. Panos directed you to all that is available above. :)

PollDaddy Ratings are available on WordPress.com. This enables you to place ratings on your blog posts, pages, and comments.

  7. Thank you so much to all of you! I am much clearer on this now. I appreciate all the info. :)
