   Hello,

   I am trying to use the Cheers theme on my website but can't get it to activate.

   I have a GoDaddy hosted account where I keep all my wordpress sites which are all associated with domain names I own. Instead of the domainname.wordpress.com address, I just use domainname.com. Usually I choose a theme, install it, and activate it and the files show up on the server which I access with an FTP client.

   So, I can get the Cheers theme to activate on my free blog site that uses the extension "wordpress.com" but it doesn't even show up in the themes search within the dashboard of my site that is hosted through GoDaddy.com.

   My site contains private family photos so I'd rather not share it in the forums since I believe my site's address is irrelevant in finding the solution to my problem. It seems to be an issue with a wordpress hosted site vs. a privately hosted site.

   I would greatly appreciate any help.

   The blog you specified at mymomsfridge.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

   That's not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here. This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.

   Hi redbaaron,

   Currently, Cheer is only available for sites that are hosted here on WordPress.com. However, it'll eventually be available for self-hosted WordPress sites. I can't give an exact date as to when it'll be available, but we definitely plan to submit it to the WordPress.org free themes directory.
