Child Tab Customization

  1. I've added a page, which I would like to have show up as a child tab. The tab is showing up, but the box does not show the title of the page. Can anyone help with this? Is this a change I need to make to the color of the text in the child tab? Where would I find that in the CSS? Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is lifeoccasionally.wordpress.com.

  2. I have flagged this thread so it will be moved to the CSS Forum where you can get Staff help as the custom design upgrade comes with Staff support.

  3. If you have the custom design upgrade you can add the following to your CSS and it will change the dropdown link color to white:

    #access ul ul a {
    color: #fff;
    }

    Puzzled? Why is the site linked to your WordPress.com username not a free hosted WordPress.com blog? It's a link to a WordPress.org install.

    Thanks! That allowed me to change the color of the text. Is there a way to change the color of the box itself?

  6. Is there a way to change the color of the box itself?

    To change the background color for dropdown menus on the Quintus theme, try out this example and adjust the colors to your liking:

    #access ul ul {
    	border-color: #bbb;
    }

    #access ul ul a {
    	color: #999;
    	border-bottom: 1px dotted #999;
    	background: #d0e2e4;
    }

    #access ul ul a:hover {
    	color: white;
    	background: #B0C2C4;
    }
  7. thanks! worked like a charm.
