Chunk theme side bar problems

  1. I am not sure what has happened but I am using the Chunk Theme and the side bar will not stay in the correct place. It moves over into my content area. I also noticed when I have looked at using other themes not all of them are displaying correctly. For example, if I use the Vintage Camera theme the date shows up as in a square not a circle.

    Thank you for your help!

  2. Hello there,
This theme does not have a sidebar. it's not designed to have a sidebar and there's nothing you can do to make one appear.

If you require a theme with a sidebar this will be helpful > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/02/26/sidebars-and-other-widget-areas/

  3. Correct, not a sidebar but the portion that shows the date, comment, etc.

Anyway I got the problem figured out.

    Thank you.

  4. Aha! you meant the metadata and not the sidebar. It's good to know you resolved this. Happy blogging!

  5. Hi, I also have the same problem, and I checked Morgan's site and it still has the problem too despite his comment that he got it resolved. It seems to work on Firefox but not IE.

  6. I am not sure if this will help you @metonymic... but I noticed that when I have the "compatibility view" button on in IE is when I was having the troubles. Now that I don't have that one it seems to work fine! Hope that helps.

  7. Perfect! That did the trick! Thanks so much @morgankay88 !

  8. When you run IE9 in compatibility mode it renders as IE7 and IE7 is not supported.
