Clipped long captions for pics

  1. I have the option of filling in the caption field for pics for the blog using quite a bit of text, but the text on the right of the field comes out clipped. Letters on the very far end of some words are missing. Is there a 'center' function I'm missing or am I just using the caption field in a way it was not meant to be used and expecting too much here?

    Thanks in advance.

The blog I need help with is arrby.wordpress.com.

  2. That's because the image tool doesn't take into account the frame around the images. You need to go to Settings > Media, set the width for the Large option to 438 and the height to 0, save changes; then select the Large instead of the Full Size option when inserting full-width images.

  3. Thanks! I love you people!

  4. I'm don't why the above solution worked for one pic and not the other. And the pic it worked for contained more text. What am I missing?

  5. Okay. I winged it, fiddling with the width (in a couple of places within the coding, which I didn't see at first) until the pic caption turned out okay (middle pic of the 3 lower pics). I have no idea what's going on here. But all's (reasonably) well that ends well.
