   Can you use wordpress with a .com domain name purchased elsewhere?

   The blog I need help with is psychmatters.wordpress.com.

   You have two domain mapping options here:

   1) Map the entire domain to your WordPress.com blog.
   http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

   Please note the warnings listed (especially regarding MX records) before setting up.

   2) Map a subdomain to your WordPress.com blog.
   http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/
