   Hello, for a while now people who regularly comment on my blog have found it impossible to do so. It happens to some users but not others, so I decided to ask those with the problem for their description of the issue. One particular wordpress blogger said:
   

   It’s because when I went to your blog I got the “featuring” post and not to the regular post. As a result, it wouldn’t let me comment on the “feature” .

   Therefore I'm wondering whether there is a problem with my theme (ThemeMin) and the featured post option? I haven't changed any settings, and it appears to be quite a recent issue - I had no problems a few weeks ago.

   If you could help in any way, I'd be most appreciative!

   I don't think this is a theme issue. Staff made some changes to commenting on March 14th > http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/recent-update-to-commenting?replies=4

   Yes, I am aware of the changes, but why aren't people able to comment specifically because it's a featured post? That's what seems to be the issue, not all this "must be logged in" business that wordpress have altered.

   I could have posted a comment without any problem at all on that post yesterday. I don't think this has anything to do with the fact it's a featured post. In fact I see 34 people have clicked the "like" button on that post.
