Comments being emailed from form, but not showing under post

    Hello, I am having a problem, where the comments form which I use under my posts is being used by my readers (and I am being emailed to tell me a comment has arrived), but they are not showing on the blog. I have checked to make sure they haven;t been shiped over to Spam (even though I recieved the email), and they are not there either. It happened the other day and wrote it off as a commetn being deleted, but it's happened again today. I am currently using the Comet theme by frostpress if that helps... I am not all that technological, so some dumbing down would be of help :). Thanks.

    Are they in moderation? Go to your Dashboard and then Comments and see if you need to Approve them.

    No, they are not showing at all, not in spam, pending or on my iphone app either. Thanks though. Any other suggestions people? :)

    Hi, this is a problem with the main dashboard. The fact that iPhone app is also not showing these comments is really just part of the larger problem. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks Sarah

    Hello, just an update that I am still having comments emailed to me, but I still cannot find them in the dashboard/comments anyway :/ this is very frustrating as it seems to my readers that I'm ignoring the comments! Help please!!

    Sorry the blog experiencing the problem is my other one at http://blondegirlbeauty.com, and my last commenters name was Veronica. If you need any further details please let me know, searched all through the spam and nothing there, I can't see anything ticked in the discussion panel which would make comments invisible. It's frustrating seeing feedback when you can't message back :(

    BYE this was the commenters name that I was emailed by wordpress

    I don't see either Veronica or BYE.

    Are you saying that BYE was listed as the commenter's name?

    Typo, this was meant to be BTW (by the way). I have the email sent from my blog from the comments section if you want me to forward it to you. It came with her name, website and comment. I have checked her email and she is a genuine blogger (albeit she doesnt use WordPress), in fact she is one of my twitter followers, so definately not spam. Thanks
