comments not showing in customised Zoren theme

  1. Hi there
Please forgive my ignorance of wordpress!
I'm helping a friend with his website and there are a couple of issues.
It's using a customised Zoren theme
First, I can't find the version of wordpress it uses! I've viewed the page source and can't see it anywhere.
Second - there is a comments section but we can't fathom why the comments are not showing up.
I've checked in the dashboard to ensure that comments are on, but still they don't show up in the comments section of the dashboard.
They seem to get sent from the front end ok but I can't see them in the back end!

Thanks so much for your help

The blog I need help with is liammckaheyandthebodies.com.

  2. Hi Lynne, I'd be happy to help answer your questions.

First, I can't find the version of wordpress it uses! I've viewed the page source and can't see it anywhere.

For sites hosted here at WordPress.com, you don't need to worry about the version of WordPress. :) We keep it updated for you so you don't have to deal with that — that's only a concern for self-hosted sites using WordPress.org. You can learn more about how WordPress.com differs from self-hosted WordPress.org sites here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

Second - there is a comments section but we can't fathom why the comments are not showing up.

Right now, I see one pending comment in this blog's dashboard. You can view all comments by going to the Comments section in the dashboard. You can also double check the comment settings under Settings > Discussion in the dashboard.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that!
