   i've checked my default and comments are allowed

   the individual post with "comments off" has been clicked to allow comments

   but the change won't stick and comments stay off

   help

   The blog I need help with is russiandefpolicy.wordpress.com.

   this seemed to coincide with the addition of 'writing helper' and 'copy a post'

   I have exactly the same problem here...!!! My last post cannot have comments, although I try to allow this!

   I am having the same problem. Thought I had accidently unchecked the allow comments box or something. I went back in to edit post, checked "allow comments" and saved/updated my post and still no posts allowed. Went back to re-edit the post again and the boxes were unchecked. I checked them, updated post, same thing happened again. Tried it several times.
