How can I Disable Comments?

    I've already disabled the comments and feedback on my blog but it keeps showing up on the main page... How do I get it off completely or at least hide it?

    To change the defaults for new posts or pages, go to Settings → Discussion. See the Discussion Settings support page for more information about this.
