Contact Form prefills with my own data - ?

  1. I added a Contact Form and it pre-fills with my own name and email. I don't want those public - what did I do wrong when I created the form?

  2. WordPress.com uses cookies to keep track of logged in users like commenters so if someone makes a comment on your blog, the next time they come to your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each other’s details. If you log out clear your browser cache and cookies http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050 then visit your blog without logging in you can confirm this.

Note: the same is true of the Admin[edit] link you can see it when you are logged in but others can't see. it.

  3. Dear TimeThief -

Thank you again. You seem to be my guardian angel when it comes to problems. I fiddled and finally got it to go blank by changing the name box and address box to text instead of the designated name and address - should I go back and change them to the original designations?

I also found each time I go in to edit a box/line in the contact form I have to re-designate it as required. It unchecks the required box when I ask to edit the line/box.
