content too wide for some computer screens!!

  1. hey there fellas, I need extra help!
I noticed that on certain small laptops (in safari only, in firefox it seems fine), my website doesn't seem to "fit" and all the content is stuck to the right of the header, which basically means you have to scroll sideways to see it. Not very professional looking, if you know what I mean!
Is there a way to fix this? The content is not THAT wide, and I've seen it fine in other internet browsers...
    thanks!

The blog I need help with is williamkraushaar.com.

  2. If you wish you can switch to a responsive width theme.

Fixed means the width of the theme does not change according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.

Fluid means the width of the theme changes according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.

Responsive width means the the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

The WordPress.com Theme team uses the “responsive-width” tag in the Themes Showcase to indicate which themes have this feature.

  3. ok, so basically I have to change my theme in order to fix my problem, since the one I'm using now is fluid?

  4. I checked http://williamkraushaar.com/ using Safari 5.1.2 for testing, and I can't reproduce the issue you described where the content doesn't seem to fit and all the content is stuck to the right of the header. I see that http://williamkraushaar.com/ is currently using the Coraline theme.

If you're still having trouble, please post back with more information about the small laptops you referred to as well as the Safari browser version you tested.
