   I have been trying to post updates to my weblog, but the updates appear on the blog after a long time.

   Also, when I changed the theme, it took a week for the new one to activate. Can anyone help? I am new to WordPress.

   Can I suggest that you raise this as a feedback issue (in your dashboard, top right corner) as I think you are the only person reporting this problem (so far).
