   So you made it this far;

   I just recently started up my Punk the Planet series again and I am focusing on writing about music (My uber passion) but I live in the lower mainland. I want to write about really awesome indie bands, from all over the place, but due to an inability to travel much, I am looking for other people who love music as much as I do...the job is simple, listen to Independant (Not played on the radio) artists, and decide whether or not their great, not good, not okay, but GREAT, if you think so, post em up and help pass the word around. We'll be doing interveiws, concert critiques, lifestyles of the punked and crazy, ect. I want however, to only work with people who are seriously interested in making PTP something really amazing.

   I don't really need nor want, people to write about famous bands or gossip, I don't want a gossip rag, if your interested, please check out my blog: http://punktheplanet.wordpress.com/ and post a message in the writers wanted section.

   Bands who get played on the radio don't necessarily mean they aren't Independent. Independent means they aren't signed to a label, right?

   Not trying to get all technical on you, it's just that I know plenty of fantastic indie bands from Sydney who although sometimes get played on alternative radio, are still Independent. It would be a shame to miss out on lots of bands just because they're played on the radio.

   I like your idea though!

   In Indonesia, indie bands performs on TV, though they're still unsigned.
