   Just found the forum, and this is my first wordpress site, up until now I have always worked in static html (dreamweaver) So I am adjusting slowly to wordpress.

   My question is, when i look at a lot of wordpress sites, it seems like the home page is pretty much made up of posts and a couple of widgets. This site is for a service business in a particular geography, so I would like to have some keyword rich content on the landing page. Do the posts count as copy on the home page?

   The blog I need help with is winecountrycarpet.com.
