No, it's not acceptable: it's content theft pure and simple. You can submit a DMCA notice. If the blog is on wordpress.com, WP will make them remove the post.

Thanks for the info. I have asked them politely if they would remove it so I'm hopeful they will. I'm obviously a bit new cos I was just shocked a personal entry that mentioned my Mother & one of my kids was nicked!!!
