Copyright Infringement

    On 6/15 I post an article on my blog at http://bestbizpractices.org/2009/06/15/branding-is-the-key-to-differentiation/. Today (6/18), I find that Garis Pang stole my copy and graphics at posted it on his blog on 6/17 at http://garispang.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/branding-is-the-key-to-differentiation/ without my consent. I looked him up on LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com/in/garispang) and sent him an email requesting that he delete it immediately. I have heard nothing back from. What course of action do I have to prevent people from stealing my content?

    Thanks for your advice!

    He stands to lose not just the post, but his entire blog, if they find he's done this to other people.

    According to another "group member" at LinkedIn, every post he has he has copied from someone. I followed the advice of thesacredpath above and WordPress deleted the offending content. Possible I was the only one that as complained as his blog is still there minus my article.

    Thank you "thesacredpath"!! You are a gentleman and a scholar and there are damn few of us left!

    You're welcome, and once a week or so check back to that blog. I got my stuff removed from one and a week later they had scraped something else of mine. The second time the web host just shut them down.

    Garis Pang has also copied one of my articlesfrom BIZNIK.COM,

    He placed it on his blog without permission or consent. I only found out when someone who had read my article notified me that it was there. I have also requested that he take it down or give me credit but he has done neither. It looks like form you information that I need to contact WORDPRESS at this point. he even put up a picture of a glass blower that is not me!
