Country Stats

  1. The new country stats are helpful. Thank you. I'm wondering though, when/if we are going to get accurate stats beyond 30 days or so ago. If I click any earlier than that, the numbers are the same, suggesting this started on February-something. It seems WordPress would have all-time information, even if it wasn't reported to us before. Because my blog is only several months old and relatively low traffic, looking at one day or week or even month doesn't really give an accurate overall picture of my traffic, whereas all-time would. Please?

The blog I need help with is ibsimpact.wordpress.com.

  2. Here's the announcement http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/

The Summaries page shows you country stats for the previous week, month, quarter and all time, but keep in mind this feature is new and views by country are not available prior to March 2012:

This is a great feature, but the map would be much more usable if the colour spectrum was wider - say, white to dark red, or even a wider slice of the rainbow eg lilac - blue - green - yellow - orange - red ? Most of my map looks a very similar shade of slightly orange yellow, I imagine I'm not alone!

  4. I have a question about new country stats, I've started my WP blog in december 2011, I have almost 5000 views all-time so far, but when I look at all.time views by country the stat says I have only 40 views, why is that so?

  5. Awesome update!
@ instantreplay1, learn to read; timethief already answered that question.

  6. I just got a referrer link back to this question of mine, and now my stats say "Since February 25, 2012." Thank you. It's nice to have accurate headings. If it is possible eventually to get life-of-blog stats, that would be even nicer, but I appreciate this very much.
