Couple of ideas, pls feed back

    The first is that we have tags seperate to categories? Is there a way I could add that? Because I at least wouldn't add categories to the point where I'd have the granularity of tags. For example a post about snow day might be category: personal, news but the tags would be snow, weather, fun or whatever. Also, it makes more sense for people to choose categories from the list of categories. E.g. "Life" instead of "Personal" or "PersonalLife" because then you'll get listed in the tag section. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

    Further to the tag idea, it might even be cool to have user generated tags? Like I tag it, anyone who reads it can submit a tag which can either be moderated or not? Just more food for thought.

    Yup, you can do all the tags that you want. Nothing stopping you. Some of us use Blogdesk that includes a generator. You also have a javascript bookmarklet thingie that Lorelle wrote about on her blog that you can use.

    Gotta admit that I think the idea for visitor generated tags would be a security issue but you're free to submit this vioa feedback come Monday when teh feedback opens back up.

    Funny that you broguht that up today as it's being discussed on one of the regular wordpress mailing lists and a ticket's been opened in trac by one of the developers.
