Created Multiple WordPress Addresses and Need to Connect Them

  1. First off, I am new to blogging. It looks like I have created three separate addresses under my one account. I assumed that they would all show up under my original account address, but that is not the case. How do I get all the different blog topics to list together when someone searches for either of the blogs? Basically, I was hoping that when someone searches for my name on Google or wherever, that they get all three blogs, and currently, only the original blog jeburroughs1989.wordpress with four entries is showing. Someone responded to another question and said that I need to blog more for them to show up, but I see one of them, why not all three? Any assistance would be helpful.

The blog I need help with is jeburroughs1989leadership.wordpress.com.

  2. It takes weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL. What attracts search engines is unique content in posts (not pages) that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. Start now publishing original content posts frequently two or even three times weekly on all your blogs. For more information read > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/

To verify blog ownership of a WordPress.com blog with the major search engines you must use this process > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Note: Even if you do not verify the blog the content will be indexed by search engines so don't feel panicky about this please.

Note also that WordPress.com automatically supplies sitemaps for our blogs to search engines - we do nothing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#xml-sitemaps-for-search-engines

Lastly note that we cannot assist with search engine issues. They are between the blogger and the search engine. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

  3. Thanks (timethief), that is very helpful.

One more question for you or others, e.g. shawnajroberts, if there any way to link my three blogs, so that all the posts are together? I did not intend for them to have different web addresses all together. I mistakenly thought they would still be picked up on the same page but with their different looks/themes. Is there an option to collapse them into the same blog?
