Creating Link to outside page in menu bar

  1. I need the heading "order online to link to an outside page -is that possible and if so how? and if you click on the menu links the menus appear like little thumbnails -is there a way to make them appear bigger? Thank you all -your great help! PS -I do have css customization option

The blog I need help with is tiffinbistro.wordpress.com.

  2. Use a custom menu.

  3. When I look a the custom menu widget I just see an option to choose an existing menu. I really need the first words on the sidebar to point to a site. When I check the source code I see the html that points "Order Online" to the home page. I just need to change that link. I know HTML but not really CSS so I'm a little lost. I see the class for the object is "site-title" so I have to get that class object to work with an a href tag or somethiing. Please help me do this because when I see the source it looks so simple.

  4. I used the custom menu widget to create a menu with the link I need at the top but can I change the size of the text? What I really want is a button that I can link to the outside site-can I do that ?

  5. It's not a CSS issue. Use a Custom Menu. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  6. Thank you for the help -Is there any way to create a button in the nav bar? And why is my open table widget all smooshed up?

  7. Hi there, you can create a custom link in the top left navigation. First off, create a custom menu for the top navigation position and include the items you want in that menu, including the custom link, to the outside site and save it. Then assign that menu to the primary menu location (check box at bottom of menu area).

  8. On the open table widget, this is what I see in Firefox, Chrome and Safari when I click on "Find a Table"
