   I get this message when I try and upload an image:

   Unable to create directory /home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/7d7/726277/files/2007/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

   Is that end question meant for me? O.o

   Just in case any of this helps as to how I got that message:
   -I uploaded a picture, and was about to crop it but it wasn't the right siz so I clicked back on my browser.
   -I went and edited my image.
   -Went back to upload the same picture (different file though) then I got that message.

   Any ideas?

   Sorry you had an issue. Gotta admit that that's the first time I've seen that error here. Hopefully it won't happen again.

   if it does, please send ina feedback as that's a backend issue that we wouldn't be able to resolve here in teh forums.

   Good to hear. Usually those kinds of issues are just glitches that are dealt with quickly and don't happen often.

   hi there

   cropped inmages don't load smartly as the ones originally sety up inside header of default header --any help here? once loaded, the new image takes full width, loosing its side borders and rounded corbners, meaning the rounded with borders image of the original disappears, and is replaced with a full bleed all the way to the edge image--its fine but i guess its not really how it's meant to work?
