Cropping Tool Doesn't Appear

    I'm trying to crop an uploaded photo for my header. I've done it in the past without problems - but for some reason, the crop tool or box is not appearing once the image loads. I tried just hitting "crop and publish" to see what would happen, and it took just the upper portion of the photo. I tried today with 2 or 3 different JPEG files, 3 or 4 MBs in size. Can you help?

    my crop tool is greyed out and will not let me crop anything.

    (1) Try clearing your browser’s cache:
    http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
    Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

    (2) If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading to the most recent stable version of your browser.

    (3) Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Thanks - I cleared out my cache and cookies and it looks like compatability mode is turned off for my blog - but still not seeing the crop tool. I wonder why this happened recently? Never had a problem with it before...

    We're just staring out and have exactly the same problem with the cropping tool. We've tried reducing file size of images but this doesn't help. Any advice please?

    just switched to chrome for my browser.. crop tool works perfectly. thank you!!!

    I'm using internet Explorer 9.
