CSS and Header and Description Fonts

  1. Hey guys brand new to CSS Customization and illiterate when it comes to HTML. I had previously upgraded prior to this, but I have set up a "typekit" account and can link it to my wordpress site. I have all the fonts i need downloaded and I have the CSS and the HTML codes to embed this font for my Header, but I can't figure out where/what/how to insert that code in order to change the font of my header. I also DL'd FireBug lets me see the HTML and edit it while im viewing the site. Any body know how to answer that convoluted question?

    Thanks guys...

    The blog I need help with is thehumanecondition.com.

  2. This depends on your theme. I checked http://thehumanecondition.com/ and I found that you're currently using the Notepad theme and that you have selected some of the fonts already in the Appearance → Custom Design → Fonts page.

    Were you trying to use the advanced version of custom fonts on WordPress.com so you can mange fonts through a separate Typekit account, or does selecting fonts right in the Appearance → Custom Design → Fonts page work out for you?

  3. I'm pretty new to rewiring things, as well. I want to change the "leave a reply" text to "leave a confidential reply." How do I go about doing that? I have access to the CSS codes. Also, is there anyway I can set up an e-mail response to my site based on my web address? My web address is for We Will: Concrete Solutions and I would like to have an e-mail address of [email removed], if possible. Thanks!

  4. I want to change the "leave a reply" text to "leave a confidential reply." How do I go about doing that?

    To change the comment form title, you could add something like this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page:

    #reply-title {
    	visibility:hidden;
    }
    #reply-title:before {
    	visibility: visible;
    	content: "New Title Here";
    }

    Adjust the title to the text you want.

  5. Also, is there anyway I can set up an e-mail response to my site based on my web address?

    There is not a way to setup an auto-reply to a WordPress.com email form.

  6. I would like to have an e-mail address.

    WordPress.com doesn't offer email service, but you can setup email through another provider and add that provider's required DNS settings to your "Edit DNS" page if you have a domain mapped to a WordPress.com blog. Please see these related help pages:

    In the future, can you please ask keep separate questions in separate threads? The original thread you posted on was about header and description fonts, and you posted several different questions about different things below it. Keeping similar questions organized together in the forums makes them easier to search later and easier to help with from the start.
