CSS color of post titles

  1. I have searched and didn't find a thread that helped me, so I'm posting my own...

    I have purchased the Custom Design, but I am quite the newbie. How can I globally change the color of my post titles? They are black, and that is too dark for my color scheme...

    Also, is there a way to change the hover color of text in the page navigation area at the top? Right now it's black...

    I am using Twenty Eleven

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is emmyandgabbie.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi! Thanks so much for your help! That last one you listed, when I read it, doesn't sound like what I am looking for.... Does that change the color of the text when hovered?

    Thanks again!

  3. Yes, I just tried it and that didn't do it.....

  4. How can I globally change the color of my post titles?

    To change the color of post titles in the Twenty Eleven theme, try this:

    .entry-title, .entry-title a {
    color: teal;
    }

    To change the hover color for the titles when they are linked, add this:

    .entry-title a:hover, .entry-title a:focus, .entry-title a:active {
    color: blue;
    }

    Adjust the color name as necessary.

  5. Also, is there a way to change the hover color of text in the page navigation area at the top? Right now it's black...

    To change the hover color for text in the menu items in the Twenty Eleven theme, try this:

    #access li:hover > a, #access a:focus {
    color: teal;
    }
  6. Thank you so very much everyone!!! It all worked!
