I am going to purchase the Custom Design upgrade in order to remove the dates and header images from my posts. However I would also like to point my blog, shannoncramerart.wordpress.com, at my primary domain, shannoncramerart.com. Does the Custom design upgrade include that feature? Or do I have to purchase both upgrades every year?
Sorry if this is a silly question, my Google skills failed me on this one.

The two are complete separate upgrades. With the exception of the Guided Transfer for moving to WordPress.org, all upgrades are per year and per blog.

A Bundle is a package of upgrades which may include some upgrades you may neither want or need. http://en.support.wordpress.com/bundles/
