   I believe that I followed the instructions provided, but even after waiting several days for the DNS servers around the world to update it still seems like my custom DNS entries are being totally ignored. We are using WordPress.com for our blog and I want to set up our mail with Google along with docs, calendar, sites, wave, etc. I know that everything on the Google side is set up because I am able to get into all the apps using the Google URLs. Here are the custom DNS entries I have put in...

   Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

   Well, the blog is redirecting just fine to the crestmontcommunity.org URL.

   There is some evidence that Google Apps changed some stuff. I would suggest contacting staff here directly at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

   Hi Al. You didn't specify what wasn't working. Email wasn't being redirected? The subdomains (mail, docs, etc.) were not redirecting to the appropriate page on Google Apps' website?

   I use Google Apps too and I compared your records and mine. We have the same MX records. However, our CNAME records for the subdomains are different. This is what I have (I only use email):

   CNAME mail ghs.google.com.

   Also, the TXT record (for spam, I read) is different.

   TXT v=spf1 include:aspmx.googlemail.com ~all

   Try it and if you are still having problems, contact staff as thesacredpath said.

   Thanks airodyssey, I removed ".crestmontcommunity.org" from all the CNAME records and now it works. I knew it had to be something simple like that. You are a kind gentleman for taking the time to help me out. Many thanks!!!
