Custom Form is inserting my profile info

  1. Hello,
I added a Contact page to my site then added a Custom Form and when I preview it, the form is adding my personal profile info like Name, Email, Website, etc and it should be blank for my website visitors to fill out. How can I make these fields blank?

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is jobfeedback4u.wordpress.com.

  2. Not to worry. There is comment form available at the end of each post your WordPress blog and some blogs also have a contact form. After the form is completed and submitted, the name and e-mail address of the person making the comment will appear and remain visible to them. WordPress.com uses cookies to keep track of bloggers like you and commenters too so if someone makes a comment on your blog, the next time they come to your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each other’s details.

  3. To make the fields blank - just log out - WordPress.COM keeps track of you while you are logged in and knows who you are - your visitors will have a blank form - or maybe info they have filled out in another form on WordPress.COM

  4. Also note that there is an Admin "edit" link which appears on posts and pages and once again it cannot be seen by anyone but you when you are logged in.
