Custom link in Header Image (Skeptical Theme)

  1. Hello... Looking for advice on creating a custom link for a header image at http://spaatzassociation.wordpress.com. Today, when clicked, the link just goes to the blog home page. Instead, we want to send it to a specific other URL (such as http://spaatzassociation.wordpress.com/2011/12/29/make-attending-the-tsa-winter-dinner-your-new-years-resolution/). I assume this would need some custom CSS....I just have no idea how to do it.

The blog I need help with is spaatzassociation.wordpress.com.

You would have to create a transparent PNG image (no background color) the same size as the header image and then put it into a text widget and link it to the page you want. Then we could use CSS to position that text widget up and over the top of the header image so it would be clickable.

  3. Richard,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I created a transparent PNG, added it to my footer, and then used CSS to move it above the main header image...it worked like a charm.
