Custom Menu in Theme for Distribution?

  1. I am trying to design my first WordPress theme built on the them framework "Whiteboard". As is, the menu contains only links to pages and no "Home" page link. I know I can build a custom menu and modify my CSS to affect this new menu. I would like to be able to distribute this theme so my question is: Can you distribute a custom menu with the theme or do I have to have instructions for the user to build a custom menu named a certain name so that it matches up with my CSS styles? Is there a better way to go about this?

    Thanks!

  2. Sorry, you need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.

If you do not know the difference, see this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .
