Custom signature at end of each post?

  1. In quite a few of the blogs I follow I like that at the end of their post there is a signature in a different font/color of their name - their way of signing off.
    How do I do this on mine? It seems like there should be a way to activate something like this so it does it automatically. Please help!

    The blog I need help with is momsecretweapon.com.

  2. There is nothing that you ca "activate". It's an image. You create an image of your signature and then copy and paste the image code on the bottom of each post bbefore you publish them. I used to use one but then decided I did not want my actual signature appearing online at all. See here > How to add a signature to your posts

  3. Thank you for responding so quickly - appreciate it.

  4. You're welcome.

  5. After reading that article you linked to I know I don't want my actual signature. I just want a cursive/script of my name. Do I do that in photoshop and then copy and paste like you suggested?

  6. Yes.

  7. I have copy and pasted the html of my signature from mylivesignature.com with no luck. I tried uploading the image of my signature to my media library it adds it with a grey square around it. Very frustrating. I'm not real techy, but have watched countless YouTube videos--mostly for wordpress.org--so that is zero help.
    I would appreciate any help!

  8. Go to Media > Library, copy the image URL, paste this in the HTML editor of the post:
    <img src="IMAGE URL HERE" alt="DESCRIPTIVE TEXT HERE" />

  9. Thanks. Got it!

  10. You're welcome!
