Customizing 404 page

  1. Is there a way to customize the automatically generated 404 page that's returned when someone accesses a non-available link on my site?

I'd like to insert a couple of redirects to commonly "lost" resources, and reassuring language that the search box can be used to find things.

Thanks in advance for any/all help

The blog I need help with is string-or-nothing.com.

  2. No that cannot be down on a free hosted WordPress.com blog as we cannot access and edit templates or themes.

  3. It's a paid premium account - not a free one. Does that matter?

  4. No it's does not matter. We can purchase specific upgrades for specific features and function only. There is no upgrade that allows us to be able to edit templates and themes or anything else stated here:

  5. Ah well. Wishful thinking. Thank you for taking the time to answer though. -K.

  6. You're welcome.
