Customizing/Deleting the footer on a Template

  1. How do I get rid of the the footer at the bottom of the page that says "Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: Chunk by Automattic. "? I'm using a template.

The blog I need help with is quackenworth.wordpress.com.

  2. You don't. It's a requirement and hiding it with CSS will result in a ToS violation.

May I remove the ‘Blog at WordPress.com’ credit in my site’s footer?
Although the Custom Design Upgrade certainly grants you the capability to hide the credit from your site’s footer, you are not permitted to do so. Even our VIP bloggers are required to maintain the credit. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

  3. I'm using a template.

Every blog here wearing the same theme is using the same underlying template as this is a multiuser blogging platform. We cannot access let alone edit either theme or template files. Only Staff can as every edit they make affects all blogs wearing the same theme.
