Customs links in main navigation bar

  1. Hello,
    I am using Twenty Twelve Theme. I have created some Custom Links in "Appearance" (Menu section). Those links appear in the main navigation bar of my webpage and have been correctly created and added to the main menu.

    I have two questions:

    1) Is there any way to view these custom links at the right side of the main navigation bar instead of close to the other menu items? In other words, I need to create a space between the menu items on the left (pages) and the custom links (which should appear at the right side)?

    2) Is it possible to write the custom links labels with lower case letters instead of capital letters?

    Thanks vm beforehand.

    Hmm, there are probably a couple different ways you could do that. Here's one possibility which simply floats some of the items to the right:

    #menu-item-2282,
    #menu-item-2618,
    #menu-item-2387 {
    	float: right;
    }

    I got the "menu-item-####" values by looking at the page source and finding the menu HTML and looking at the ID values for each
    "li" element. If you right-click on one of the menu items and select the "Inspect Element" option, you should be able to see the HTML where you can find the ID values.

  3. 2) Is it possible to write the custom links labels with lower case letters instead of capital letters?

    To make all of the menu items lowercase, you could add this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

    .main-navigation li a {
    	text-transform: lowercase;
    }

    Or to remove the case rule so the menu items show as you typed them in the Appearance → Menus page, add this:

    .main-navigation li a {
    	text-transform: none;
    }
  4. Hello,

    This is really what I needed!! You've been a great help!

    Thanks a lot.
