Hi there,
I have a blog running on 2.8, and my wp_posts.sql file is getting restored after I failed to backup correctly.
In the meantime, I want to upgrade, find a new theme, and start to host content again. If I do this, once the wp_posts.sql file is fixed, will the old content be visable?

Sorry, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that blog is self-hosted and self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported there.
These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.
