Date Format in Spectrum

  1. Currently the date format on my posts is 'Month / Day / Year'. No matter what I change the day format to it still remains the same in spectrum. Any way to fix this without the css upgrade? In other themes you could change the date format without it so I just assume this is something that was accidentally left out.

The blog I need help with is shane3x.com.

  2. There are two places that a theme can get dates from, and with one place, the HTML date codes in settings > general control, and in the other, you would have to have access to the underlying theme files, which we do not have.

I would contact staff directly and ask them to change this. All themes should pull the date from the stuff at settings > general so that people can format the date they way they want it.

  3. @shane3x
Due to Spectrum's layout and design long dates are not possible to accommodate. However, it should now display the correct date order if you set a 'd/m/Y' format in your settings.

  4. Perfect, thank you!

There's no possibility to include the time right? That would be even nicer...

  5. @michielvisser Time stamps on posts are not part of this theme.

  6. Ok, thank you. Just wanted to be sure of that.

Bed time in Europe now, bye bye!
