Why is the date for my posting December 13, when I just wrote it on December 12 at 7:30 pm Pacific time, which is still Dec. 12 (10:30pm) Eastern??? I expected and wanted it to be posted for Dec. 12, 2012. Please help or change it! thanks~ journeyofresilience.wordpress.com

The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General
Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click "save changes".
I know you aren't scheduling a post but you may have to edit the existing one and change the date and time so please see the image here http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/
